Hope this gets to you....I don't know much about the location of the missiles but as a teenager, my father was stationed at Walker AFB, 1958-1963. THe only story I can tell you is: I was dating a young GI who was in the Air Police Canine unit who guarded the silos...One fellow died of an appendicitis while on guard duty since his dog would not let anyone near enough to treat the young man until it was too late.I remember a few names but thats about it.
