There are several options available to your friend for companionship and transportation:
Roswell JOY Center 623-4866 - offers transportation to the Senior Citizens Center which is also a nutrition site.
RAC - offers a wide vatiety of activities for seniors - 624-6718
RSVP - offers volunteer opportunities in the community with transportaiton available. 623-3960
Church groups - have many programs for those seniors who do not drive. If you can let us know which one your friend may be interested in, we can try to get them together.
Roswell also has the Pecos Trails HandiVan Service which provides door-to-door transportation for those who require it. 623-7778.
