Last summer we visited Roswell and fell in love with the people and area. We proceeded to purchase a home and plan to move there permanently in 2004. I can't wait until we get settled in your wonderful town. We found the area comfortable, in spite of the heat wave, and the people friendly and welcoming.

Main from late '66 to early '67. I know that house is long gone, but some good times were had there in the "old days." Since leaving in '67, I've lived in Hawaii, Texas, Mississippi, Maryland, Turkey, New York, Oklahoma, California, Nebraska, Albuquerque, Italy, Thailand, and now in Washington state. I still consider Roswell my home, however. Haven't been there since 1982, but hope to get back some day. I am 67 years old and all my life I thought about the Roswell July 5, 2025 story as told to me when I was a kid by my father back during that time when I was growing up in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Now I am living in Copperas Cove, Texas because I am a Retired Army N.C.O. here next to Fort Hood, Texas.. One day I watching tellivision the SCI-FI station and they were advertising The Roswell program, so I waited till January 13th this year and the Pilot came on, and I recored each episolds of the 1999, 2000,2001 and 2002 up to the end of the program.I they will make a movie of it too! The show is clean for any age can watch, very young or my case very old, age 67 years old....

I was born and raised in Roswell. My extended family continue to reside there. Now I live in Sacramento, California working as a Social Worker for Child Protective Services Intake and Court Investigations Unit. I have not been home in 18 years. My husband & I visted Roswell for the 2nd time last July,02. We spent a month visiting and purchased a home which we hope to move into by next summer early fall. I just read the article in the Roswell Daily Record by Argen Duncan regarding extended stays in Roswell. I think this is a wonderful idea, we had no trouble finding things to do during our stay. We stayed at the Best Western and we asked if they gave discounts for extended stays of a week or more and they were quite willing to do this. I think advertising this and offering discount coupons for dinning is a wonderful way to let people know what a great place Roswell is to visit and live. We found everyone to be warm and friendly. I don't think your people will need much training. We even joked that we thought everyone worked for the Chamber of Commerce. Can't wait until we can make our move. Cheryll Drury
