They started putting up signs like "aliens are welcome" or "ufo parking" at stores and restruants. I started to laugh a little...you know? I laughed at the museums...I guess it is because I lived there most of my life and I even remember when Roswell was not even on the map...that this stuff was "new" to me...yeah I knew about the "ufo crash" or what ever you want to call it, but to advertize it like Roswell has done this last ten years well...I guess I didnt know how to absorb it except to laugh at it. Yes it was a good idea for the town to do so. But just recently I heard that they even did MORE stuff in relating to the UFO...like the lamp posts on main street is alien heads, and there is a building or they are building it with a sauser that looks like it crashed into the building. I heard that walmart has stuff relating to the aliens and ufo stuff...unbelieveable if you ask me...but still a good idea for the town.
I went to the 50th anneversary (I lived there at the time) and bought the magazine that had to do with the aircraft crash I never even opened it...it is still in mint condition...I think I am going to pass it to my kids and when the 100th annerversary comes it will be worth more than it is now...well I dont think my idea is as good as Roswell's but hey if they can make money so can I, right?
I miss my home town...I sure hope to find anybody that I knew there..did they turn itno aliens, I wonder or worse maybe they were abuducted? Maybe that is why I can not find them? (I have been searching for a few years now). LOL _________________ I am searching for anybody who is from Roswell. Email me if you know me...or even think you know me |
