Hi
I moved to Roswell from Calif the weekend of 11/19/05. I'd been looking here for 4 years. Since I'm in my mid-50's I thought it would be a great place to live. But I think the business owners need to know that your employees are very negative about the image they present about living in Roswell. I have been in about 12 stores in the past 6 days where at least 90% of your employees have said, "Why would you want to move to Roswell? We're all trying to get out". These people have no clue what it's like OUT THERE!! Roswell has SKY, something that we don't have in Calif. That's just one of many things on my list. I have have been watching Roswell grow from a distance for the past 4 years. The city would grow faster, if that's what you want, if your employees would show a more positive attitude about living here.
I'm personally going to make it a great place to live!! Very Happy

Yes, I understand the negative attitudes, there is not much to do there when you are 20 something like me. I grew up there and always thought I would return someday. In highschool I would get pretty tired hearing my peers complain about how boring it is. I agree, it needs a lot of work, but there is always something to do if your creative. I am glad you are going to do your part to make it better. When I return this spring I will too. I think it is easier to appreciate it once you've left and don't feel trapped. But Roswell has worked itself into a rut by the whole Retire in Roswell campaign. A town can't be composed purely of retirees. The young people in Roswell need to be better represented.
