My name is Maureen McGinn. I'd like to share a vision with you that the Lord placed on my heart over 20 years ago. What the Lord showed me was the 'Gospel Village, an Amazement Park." It is to be located in Roswell, NM, where children and adults alike can experience God's love through arts and crafts, music and puppets, and even a Bible-size replica of Noah's Ark.
We know that gangs and youth violence are all on the rise in every community, the very foundations of the home and family are being shaken, and it is becoming increasingly more difficult for God's Church to reach a large percentage of the population in our country. It is for these reasons that it is necessary to find alternative means of reaching these people with the gospel of Jesus, thus the idea for the Gospel Village was born.
The Gospel Village will be built on approximately seven acres of land in the southwestern part of Roswell, on the outskirts of town. A number of improvements have been made on the land, including landscaping and plumbing. The Lord has paved the way by providing unsolicited utilities and services. Construction of the first phase is already underway. Here is a brief overview and rendering of all the buildings in the gospel village.
